I just wanted an average Pokemon game, but this game manages to be worse than Sun and Moon in just about every way.
Any rational person can see that Sword and Shield are complete hack jobs. Rushed to hell and back, just like Sun and Moon.

It's even more rushed than Sun and Moon. At least SM had a full dex, a GTS, and lots of legends/UBs to catch in postgame. If anything USUM felt like the rushed one with the story feeling worse for some reason

Sun and Moon were bad enough to make me lose all interest in anything Pokemon related for two years, yet somehow I'm looking back on it as a symbol of quality.
Just like how I thought X and Y were awful but Sun and Moon made them look good in comparison, too.
