If you had to make a Spin-off game for Yellow how would you make it work for her character. I think a Monster Hunter-esque approach to battling where she has to weaken and Soothe pokemon

You could try a "confrontation without fighting" approach like Ranger, since Yellow likes to end battles rather than win them, but she is also a good character to build a non-combat game around. Maybe Todd Snap but with a sketchbook and healing powers to befriend Pokemon and see more of whatever world you set her in. Something more laid back.
