Point your anger at the Pokémon company not gamefreak. The Pokémon company calls the shots and gamefreak follows. They are told to make yearly releases under terrible funding and time constraints. The team is extremely small for games of this caliber and they aren’t getting any help.

You can watch interviews with the gamefreak team constantly looking over the interviewer at the TPC reps monitoring every single thing they say. They lied because they were told they had to lie. Don’t blame the studio for this, if TPC weren’t the gigantamax cunts they are and actually gave these guys enough time and money to actually make the fucking game instead of telling them they have X amount of time until deadline cause this shit has to coincide with the anime and merch campaigns we might have actually gotten a better game.

I’m not saying GF is free of blame, but they’re the little guy in this equation and not ones responsible.
