Most people mad at Gamefreak are at least of these things

>Autistic
>Little to no friends in school
>Had a difficult home life and sought escapism a lot of the time
>Virgins or low volume sex havers
>Straight or Gay (Not lesbian or Trans)
>Low Skill Worker
>Poor Social Skills
>Little to no hobbies outside Escapist media

Of course a company won't want to cater to you. You don't expand their market base at all, you're dead consumers. You only bring your wallet while catering to a casual demographic brings them/their SOs/their kids
