God, this cap is so annoying. What do you guys feel about it?

Also, could they have not come up with a better reason? They have a single pixel of HP left and I still can't catch them.

It's pretty immersion breaking and goes against the spirit of catching pokemon. As if something on the brink of fainting that is poisoned or asleep just cannot be caught. If catching pokemon didnt net you experience, it would never have been a problem. You could've just caught it and not have it obey until the appropriate badge.

Oh shut up. If it were the other way around and it let you catch the high level Pokemon, you guys would say "wow I can't believe that they really let you steamroll the gyms like this. Once again the games are made easier" like fuck is there no end to the incessant complaining man.

Even without catching them I'm still steamrolling every gym when the most i've down is catch a buncha mons, and use the candies from my raids. My Scorbunny has one-to-two shot killed nearly every pokemon in the first 3 gyms.

Remember when high level Pokemon sometimes ignored you or used a different move or gave themselves confusion or fell asleep when you didn't have enough badges? Crazy world we live in, huh. Can't imagine that being a solution to any problem at all, nope.

What they could of done is instead of a catching cap is that certain leveled pokemon won't spawn or be encountered until you get a new badge then you'll able to encounter a higher level pokemon

People were already complaining about being able to 1-shot full HP Gigamaxed Pokemon. If GF took the route of allowing high level mons to be captured but you can barely use them, following the precedent of past titles, I don't think anyone would be complaining. It would be more challenging to do so, and would make for a handful of enjoyable moments.

>High level mons aren't shiny locked so now if you find one, and now that you can capture it, it's actually challenging to try to capture it before it dumpsters you

The logical thing to do would be to not complain, because it's not a problem. But as I have been on this board more recently in the past month, I've only been shown one thing, and that is that you all complain about every single detail. Someone somewhere would have a fucking problem with this, because all of you just like to nit pick, and snuff out things you don't like, and I guaran-fucking-tee someone would have a problem with it.
