>>41159456I'll try to vary from your post.
>Gen 1G: No bullshit clutter with NPCs and plot, also gives flexibility in gym order around middle-late game.
B: Kanto is a pretty fucking boring region.
>Gen 2G: The region and character design are really quite excellent, I love the feeling of tradition present within the world.
B: Many of the new pokemon are unlikeable, with the good additions being mainly new evolutions.
>Gen 3G: The region has a lot of soul with all of the neat shit to find and figure out like the Regis, Sky Pillar, etc which past gens lacked. It feels like an actual big world.
B: I fucking hate the music and how samey it feels with the water and beaches.
>Gen 4G: Glorious addition to the roster of pokemon, including evolutions for old pokemon. It respects the previous generations whilst having its own identity.
B: I dislike the male protagonist's design. Would have been better if we could have used their Contest outfit.
>Gen 5G: I love how the game locked most of the old pokemon until postgame, making it feel like a fresh new experience.
B: Tried too hard to be Kanto 2.0 with its pokemon designs.
>Gen 6G: Character customisation is piss easy to mention.
B: The region sucks ass.
>Gen 7G: I genuinely liked them moving away from the gym formula and the overall region aesthetic.
B: I could give less of a fuck about Alolan Kanto pokemon.
>Gen 8G: The idea of scrapping the Elite Four and instead doing an anime-style tournament to face the champion is cool, if only it wasn't just rehashing the fucking gyms.
B: Soulless, lifeless world.
