Can someone explain to me how the fucking weather works?
Is it dependent on time or steps? Is it dependent on time or steps? day of the week?

Date seems to be one thing that changes it. time traveled to try for sunny and foggy weather to spawn different mons. I think some weathers are locked behind different badges though, sandstorms only appeared after I beat 3rd gym

It's just another example of Game Freak's incompetence. Probably had to use the fog to reduce draw distance because rendering all those sand particles or snowflakes was causing frame drops.
