You know what would have the same effect but let everyone transfer in their mons? Giving players the ability to select limitations when battling online (no megas, no legendaries, etc etc) and only be matched up with other players with the same limitations. But of course GF is too retarded to program something like that into the game.

Actually, the balance is going to be pretty bad because less usable pokemon. Yes, those are cancer, but it's hardly going to be a healthy meta.

Plus some things that would've been counters (Like HP Fire Magnezone, who is dex cut so it's not like it would've mattered in this case anyway) are now fucked with hidden power axed. Removing hidden power is just going to limit even more possible pokemon that can fuck up the shit of cancer.

Doesn't work as well. Boosting sweepers can just bait out a wall's dynamax which immediately puts them at a disadvantage. If they swap to something meant to revenge you, then you can just dynamax to kill it since the extra HP will boost you enough to tank a hit.

They're broken in regards to sweepers. All of a sudden you're much more bulky, have three z-moves that also set up beneficial effects and in some cases are more powerful than the base move. What's supposed to stop you, that scarfed revenger who can't OHKO you anymore while you have a boost up? That wall who can be punched through and has to guess whether or not they should burn their own dynamax in the hopes of stopping you?

Like come the fuck on what did you think was going to happen when Moxie Gyarados sets up Dragon Dance and then spams Geyser/Air Stream?

Megas were imbalanced and not totally broken. Most things that got it weren't broken in the conventional sense. A majority weren't even in OU. People just like to point to Blaziken and Lucario and pretend they're the norm.
