What's the average length of a Pokemon game, and does Sword and Shield meet that length or exceed it?
I've seen many saying it'll take about 16-20 hours if you breeze through it.

It took me 12 hours going at my normal pace while trying not to become overleveled. It's about average for nugen Game Freak. Post game is nonexistent. I wouldn't pay more than a dollar for this game. Hollow Knight cost me $15 and it provided 100+ hours of gameplay.

People underestimate just how stupid it is that we can't turn the exp share off at all. The entire game's balance is out of whack with how easy it is.

hollow knight pads out its total hours tho. like dark souls, its not that it has a lot of content. its that its difficulty has you failing and repeating the same bosses over and over again

The game basically makes you choose between either taking your time with side content only to curbstomp the main game, or rushing through the main game and missing all the side content to have only a marginally more challenging experience. Very poorly balanced.

My save file is currently at 22 hours and I'm at the final city right now (Haven't done the league stuff yet). I've just been dicking around and idling on my switch on docked mode somtimes, looking for pokemon I actually wanted on my team (still cant find dreepy), talking to npc's, and exploring. But realisticly speaking, about 20 hours.
