SwSh devs were expected to create 890+ hd models, animations for each of them, and visual effects for hundreds of pokemon moves. So many models. So many animations. So many visual effects. Corners had to start getting cut somewhere to release the game on time.
Battle Revolution devs were just expected to make 493 sd models, animations, and visual effects. Less to create overall than SwSh, so once they made the 493 pokemon look good, they had time to go back and polish it more. SwSh devs had no such luxury.
