the only advantages i can think of for one being better than the other is cosmetic wise or maybe one nature compliments their stats better. besides that, they seem identical

They have a few gameplay difference. One gets Shift Gear, Venoshock and Plus, the other gets Magnetic Flux, Venom Drench and Minus.

Both have their uses. Yellow gets shift gear which is an amazing boosting move even in special attackers, if magearna is anything to go by, but blue also has a sort of cosmic power thing going on considering magnetic flux raises defense and special defense. However, it must run minus in order to use it, essentially having no ability.

I think amped up will be the overall best, but I'd like the meta to prove me wrong with some wacky toxic spikes + venom drench + magnetic flux shenanigans

Also this thing gets plusle and minuns ability? What’s the point? Is it encouraging me to use both forms in a double battle or something? I hope there’s more double battles like in gen 3 and 4.
