Hey bros, I'm having a replay of Pokemon Platinum & I'm probably gonna pick up a Switch Pokemon game to arrive tomorrow. Which do I pick up?

Dont pick up the let's go games.

It's too basic without ability's, pokemon items, only 150 pokemon etc. The game quickly got boring, and it's just a remake..

In my opinion i would go with Pokemon Sword, or try out Mario kart of you haven't :)

I’d pick Sword/Shield over Let’s Go. The online battle/Max Raids scene seems like it’ll be pretty active and fun.

Seriously if you were into Gen 1 as a kid, you'll have a good time. And it's a more competent game than SwSh. Plus it looks like you have good reasons to get LGP based on the image.

Unironically LGPE.

It's a betrayal fo the core formula, but it's also entrataining and soulful as fuck.
I enjoyed it despite having the shittiest menus and mechanics ever.

Don't bother with Sword and Shield at all
Regardless of quality, they'll likely release third/ultra versions that'll have more content, and even if they don't, you'll be able to get them cheaper used later on
Get let's Go if you really want a Pokemon RPG for the Switch, check version exclusives because there's no GTS in any of the switch games

Why would you assume that when Platinum was literally the last time that ever happened? The next installment will either be a sequel like BW2 or USUM, or won't exist at all like after XY

USUM wasn't a sequel. They're alternate storylines from the first 2 games a.k.a "3rd" versions. The reason many people hated USUM in the first place is that they were expecting a BW2 sequel and instead just got a 3rd version

Go for Let's Go Eevee, don't listen to these idiots here. Any sort of thing removed in Let's Go wasn't even fun to begin with, as oposed to everything removed in Sword/Shield.
