Now that the game has dropped, it hurts me so much that the structure had the potential for my perfect Pokemon experience. With non-garbage open world mechanics, a complete dex and a difficulty curve that incentivized proper team building, I could see myself pumping more hours into catching and training than any other game, compared to other games where I usually pick what team I want from the beginning and catch nothing else, not to mention the garbage story and post game ruining any chance of investment.
The ideal version of this game basically fulfills all the needs I went to Pixelmon for and more, but as of right now it's not even worth the buy.
