The lost vehicle thing is a shame, but at least Coalossal is still awesome looking, doubly so in G-Max.

The real crime is robbing us of a fast Rock/Fire. That Speed stat kills the hope I had for the line.

everything is streamlined and fine tuned no room for creative only conformity. The sooner you get redpilled on this the sooner you will shake free from the autism shackles of Pokémon

you wanted rolycoly to turn into a badass train locomotive beast, something that would be plainly evident and logical in any other monster catcher game, but no. This is Pokemon. When James Turner says "we need obligatory shitty golem/rhyperior line for this region" he is going to have his way.

So they can recycle some of golem/rhyperior's animations. A proper train pokemon would have required completely new animations and the lazy fucks at GF saw that Rolycoly's animations took a little more time than average so they halfassed the evolutions.
If it makes you feel better, even if the last stage was a train, the Gigantamax would have been close to the current kaiju anyway
