Was thinking about using him if I ever play a new Pokemon game in the future, but I have one question.

Does his ability work in singles or only doubles? For example, if one of my Pokemon gets fainted, and then I send out Passimian next, does he inherit their ability? If Reciever is a double battles only ability than fuck it, I'll never use him.
