Don't know what Gamefreak is going to say but I say you all this:
I'm glad the GTS was removed, it was only useful to anti-social incels that didn't have any friend nor the social skills to convince someone to trade with them. Children can trade easily at school and people with social circles can trade too. Also GTS was full of incels flaunting their shinies and rare pokemon asking for unavailable stuff.
And on top of that is that the old games have an option to run a fake GTS that makes trading easy on emulators. Wireless and other kind of trading are harder to emulate, so in the future these games won't be popular nor fun on emulators, so incels will have to actually buy it used of buy a new product instead of being parasites that don't contribute to taxes and society.
