I'm surprised that midnight releases somehow manage to still be a thing. I enjoyed them 10 years ago, but it's not really worth waiting around, especially this time of year in the fucking cold, just to get a copy of a game a few hours earlier.
I did notice that no stores around me have any sort of midnight release aside from the retailers that are already open 24 hours.
