Now that I think about it, the towns in sinnoh arent very memorable other than maybe Jubilife, Canalave, Veilstone, and Snowpoint. The rest seem pretty generic and honestly need more to it other than great BGM.

The towns and cities in Hoenn always felt very unique barring Oldale, Petalburg, and Verdanturf.

To me, it's the opposite. I can easily recall how every town and city looked and sounded from Sinnoh, and only a few like Pastoria feel weak. Hoenn's (and many of Kanto and Johto) feel very same-y, except for Sootopolis and Slateport.

Idk about same-y for Hoenn. Each new town you visited felt different from the last. The beginning has you going from a city, to a beach, to a harbor, to a village near some volcanoes.

I enjoyed Sinnoh too, but thinking about it in retrospect, the towns needed much more to them.

I never really liked SInnoh that much, it just felt like a retread of all the other Pokemon regions. Glad they went with the international gimmick.
