>>41194227As an artist, I wouldn't say it's about taking things for granted. Everyone's got some sort of shit going on in their lives. The art world in particular is easy to get down in the dumps about, since it's so competitive in this technological age (where content flows in a constant stream, so everyone's desperately trying to catch your attention).
I'd say if you love someone's art, let them know that. Write them a nice message/comment (and SAY what you love about it, so it's not generic and vague and then they know what they're doing right). Or even have the gall to give a retweet/share instead of a like.
