Sword and Shield were incredibly underwhelming in my opinion, and most people feel the same way. However, many people are taking their anger to excessive levels and directing it at people who bought the games regardless. People have been shamed, harassed and threatened for purchasing the games, even in full acknowledgement of their flaws.

This is demonstrating just how fucking petty and juvenile some factions of the fanbase are. I get that Pokémon was your childhood sweetheart, and that the new games aren't what you wanted them to be. Stop acting like such entitled brats, no one's forcing you to buy them. Play fan games if you want a more enriched story experience.

Getting angry at GameFreak is fine, but direct all your anger at them - not at the consumers. You don't get to have a say in what other people are allowed to enjoy, so grow the fuck up.
