>>41207312Physical sales aren't dropping so fast you'd see a 60% decrease in 3 years. Maybe if this were 10 years later you'd be right but even OR/AS pre-order numbers aren't as low (still about 50% higher than Sword and Shield) when corrected for 5 years of decreasing physical sales passed.
Also technically, in media in general Japan has been seeing a slight increase in physical sales as of late (last 2 years). Not a huge jump (~3%) but everywhere else it's all going down every year more than Japan has gone up so it's not a reason for the massive decline.
