Nah, i'm glad he's not in charge at Nintendo, i can't say that i'm glad he's dead because this is too edgy and i didn't had nothing against him as a person(seemed like a really genuine person desu), but he was a incompetent who almost ruined Nintendo, and i doubt his involvement on the Switch was that big, since he was sick and all, also the Switch is actually a good console in comparison to Wii and Wii U.

No, it flopped because the console took like 6 months to have a actual game, and the idea behind it it's stupid, they sacrificed hardware in favor of a shitty clunky ass tablet.
At least the Switch is portable

you have no clue what you're talking about. iwata was probably the MOST competent person nintendo ever had in charge. he wasn't just a guy in a suit, he made games himself and understood why people like playing them.
compare that to the new guy nintendo has in charge now, who's some financial guy with a smartphone obsession.

How it's better? it had NO third party support, the Gamepad gimmick was useless for the most part, most of the Wii U games are available on the Switch, and some games are overall lacking compared to their Switch counterparts, like:
Mario 3D World x Odyssey
Smash Bros 4 x Smash Bros Ultimate

I think the few things that Wii U better than the Switch was: Online (you didn't had to pay it, and you have Miiverse which was nice imo) and the multimedia retrocompatibilty
