SwSh are Xenoblade 2 tier when it comes to Framerate, Resolution and such but they sure as hell are better video games than SM and ORAS.

Nobody argues HGSS is a bad game (at least, not successfully.) The criticisms of HGSS are mostly small things like the level curves in Kanto. There's nothing to apologise for.

It's not bizarre. Oras and platinum was the best stories ever made. After them soty wise went downhill not mention pokemon originality. With black and white kept that mythological aspect with kyrem on post game kinda helped and with the seasons. But the next gens only graphics improved. The ideas was good but stories gone to shit. We gone from arceus and time and space to two fuckin wolfes and friendship crap.

At some fuckin point they need get their shit together and stop experiment with game elements too. They need to sum all the best mechanics. Like fuckin seasons and batle towers and all the shits that gave the games pros and create a game and after it never remove them. We have 2020 and we still don't have a global pokemon game. New gens are like spins offs. Disconnect from the lore they had build till gen 4 -5. Xy sun and moon and this are barely even conect together as story wise to the general pokemon history.

Yes. But a freaking consistence doesn't harm. How you conect the sun and moon to the new gen and Xy ? It's totally like resset story. They can pass the messages add some stuff and go deeper on the story we have so far. This new legendaries are totally out of their ass random stuff. They have time space and a freaking god. They have time travel. We have fosils. Why the fuck we don't get a gen related to acient forms or futuristic of existence pokemon with a reworked cool location and an epic story. Food pokemon. Clothe pokemon. Item pokemon. Huge gigantic ones. Z forms and nothing remains.

I am certain, at the time, there was a Theta Emerald or something for an Emerald remake but Gen 7 wanted out and GF decided to shelve the idea. Also with seeing the "hate" ORAS got also played a role in Emerald being forgotten
