I'm about 7 hours in. It's Pokémon, it's not bad. It does have an overwhelming feeling of it wasn't ready yet.

Why these fucks couldn't wait one more year so the devs could make the graphics and pop ins not look like shit and include the pokedex is beyond me

I'm not even at the first gym yet and I'm literally trapped in the wild area doing raid battles. It's addicting.

People seem to be judging the game based on their own notions of how the game should have been and what GF SHOULD have done just because it's the first console mainline game. So they're ass mad their perfect vision of the game didn't happen.

Enjoy it for what it is, a new pokemon gen and move on.

It's pretty damn fun, the wild area is what a Pokemon game should be like, being afraid of over leveled fully evolved mons and avoiding them, camping and making your mons curry is also a lot of fun, the only thing I don't like is the restrictions to catching based on badges.

Following leaks doesn't necessarily mean spoiling every aspect of the game for yourself.
And even then, you don't need leaks to finish the game in under 24 hours since pokemon games are easy as shit and generally have the same formula.
