I am glad. I feel relieved. I feel free.
All the disappointment and impotence for seeing my favorite series die that's been building since ORAS, accumulating during SM, USUM and LGPE... it finally exploded into the mainstream. I'm sure GameFreak at least noticed it. Now I know I'm not alone. Not the only sailor who sees the leak in the sinking ship.
Now that GF noticed the fan discontent, now that we forced the feedback they always ignored into their faces, there are two possible, and also positive, futures:
1. They correct the trend of mediocrity and from now on Pokémon games are quality games. The series is saved.
2. They do not correct anything and we can finally abandon a hobby that is directly not for us anymore. No more dreams, no hope for improvement. We are finally certain that they already know what we want and if they don't deliver it's a purposeful decission. We are free from the deluded hopes and dreams.

It feels great either way.
