I grew up with them. They grew up with me.

There wasn't a single time I wouldn't find refugee from my life in these games. Everytime I turn on my console, they were there, ready to fight with me.

I stopped playing when I was a teenager cause I was embarrased of looking like a fool in front of my friends. Then my love for this world came back as strong as ever.

But after a couple of years, I realized it wasn't as entertaining as it was before. Why was I still here? Did I really need them anymore? The only thing I do is complain and complain about stuff that I don't know if I even like anymore.

23 years. It's been a wild ride.
But maybe it's time to finally say goodbye.
To turn my back and never look behind.
