My copy of Disney Classics came in today and I was watching the making of videos and almost wished Disney had Pokémon. From the sound of it, despite being a quick rush out the door, the QA on their part that went into the making of Aladdin was fucking stellar.
Certainly far beyond any QA anyone involved at Game Freak has dealt with in the last 10 years.
And the part about how kids in testing who didn't give a shit about the story and the one girl who did watch it got annoyed because she only watched it because they thought it would tell them something important about the game was hilarious.
In 1993 kids were able to tell you story in a game isn't supposed to waste your time if you don't want it to. Where the fuck did it all go wrong?
