You are having fun, you're liking it, admit that it's good. Admit that the game is not as bad as all the nitpicking had you brainwashed. This game is decently directed and scores a solid 8.5, being without a doubt a must-buy for every Switch owner that's interested in Pokémon or have kids.
It lacks the dex? Yes.
It's an HD 3DS game? Yes.
Does this make it a bad game? No.
It could have been a 10/10 game on par with Odyssey and BotW if GF weren't greedy? Hell yeah. But that's not news for you if you're still a fan to this point.
