>>41231449My expectations were low so it didn't disappoint except on some points
>Wild AreaI'm far from a graphicsfag, but this place looks bad. Not particularly fun to explore either.
>StoryI didn't finished it yet (6th gym), but characters have so much screentime, but still feel so dull. Hop is quite annoying (I did like Hau, for comparison).
>ExplorationAgain, I didn't expect much, but it's non existent. You spend at most five to ten minutes in an area, including battles against trainers.
>MusicIt's the thing that can make a game really enjoyable for me, and it has been terrible so far.
>CampingIt somehow manages to be worse than Amie/Refresh.
There are a few good things
>RaidsIt's quite cool. The catching animation is a bit long after the second time, but it feels rewarding overall.
I hope that really hard co-ops will be available, where bringing support mon would be valuable.
>Gym leadersTheir teams don't flat out suck so far. They even use 4 pokemon.
Dynamax is well represented too, compared to megas in Gen 6.
Overall, I don't really see any huge upgrade from SM. You're not missing much, if anything, by skipping them.
They're far from what I expected for a mainline pokemon game on console.
