Regional Forms should had been in gen 6 instead and Mega Evolutions was not needed, prove me wrong

Both regional forms AND megas were bad ideas.
Gamefreak should just fucking balance pokemon stats.
Yeah whatever give charizard and pikachu insane buffs, just make sure ALL SHITMONS get something.

i liked some megas, as long as they were given to shitty mons to make them more viable, like beedrill. but if gf really was willing to give two of them to mewtwo alone, then we might be better off without them

Megas were more interesting and more fun. They allowed for huge stat boosts to what would otherwise be shitmons, and could even change how the Pokemon played. Charizard X and Y worked differently from one another, Mega Manectric was a surprisingly bulky special attacker thanks to Intimidate, Mega Sableye was a crazy wall, etc. The only things they did wrong were withholding it from any Gen 6 Pokemon except fucking Diancie, and giving it to Pokemon that didn't need the boost - e.g. Lucario, Gengar,

Well it would make some sense.
Kanto, Johto, Hoenn, and Sinnoh are all in the same area, so minimal divergence.
Pokemon from them are neither native to Unova nor have a long history as invasive species, so no adaptations.
But Kalos was the first region to take place far away and naturally have the same species, so logically that's when we should have seen the first widespread regional forms.

Most pokemon found in Kalos (especially sea-dwelling ones) should be in Galar
And there should be no regional difference between what you find in Kalos and what you find a pond away in Galar

Seems like most anons have positive feelings regarding megas, and im one of them. Thought it was a innovative and fun new idea to enhance the game without drastically changing it. And the designs were badass. Objectively better than the other bullshit they've tried. Regional forms are fine, but z moves and dynamax fucking suck. Triple battles were aight, but gimmicky, not a staple. Rotation battles were shit.
