Why does it feel like Pokémon fans are the only videogame fanbase not allowed to be angry about something? No one called the Bethesda/Fallout/EA fags toxic. Why do we get singled out?

People who are not fully invested in the games are the main voice of the Pokemon fanbase (casuals, youtubers etc.), while things like Elder Scrolls/Fallout/Mass Effect allow for the voice of the more invested and long term fans to be heard.
If Fallout were in a similar position to Pokemon in this regard, Fallout 76 probably would have been a well regarded game.

He's probably talking about people who complained about things like FO76 and ME Andromeda. Those people are generally not considered toxic, whiny or entitled, their opinion is taken pretty seriously among their respective fanbases.

you would be surprised, specially andromeda, with fallout 76 there is more of a general concensus about the game being a scam, but its remaining rabid fans still call anyone toxic

huh, I think it's the opposite. Bethesda games have become the call of duty of rpgs so you mostly see normies talking about them. And whereas most pokemon players are casuals/kids, I'd say that most of the people you see defending the games on the internet are the heavily invested autistic fans who can't accept pokemon isn't the best thing in the universe.

That's wrong.
I can't guarantee for fallout, since I noped out of it as soon as the first bits of news of 4 were available, but during the me3 fiasco people were called in various ways, including toxic, on every internet site including this one, albeit this one was the only one allowing to call out ea and bioware shit directly.

Because the majority of pokemon fans genuinely enjoy the taste of shit. They fell in love with the taste of shit when they were kids and haven't eaten anything besides shit for 20 years.
