That's been my way of coping. I know this game is going to sell like gangbusters but I appreciate people are finally waking up to how stale,stagnant and lifeless this franchise has become now that it has progressed past 'bad but in a consistent way'. I feel like this is the first time your average person is turning a serious critical eye toward these new games so that's a small victory in its own way.

The Britfag aesthetic was a wise choice since its legacy will be the Pokemon equivalent of Oasis' third album. Massively hyped, sold a fuckload and left a generation of people asking "What the fuck is this?" afterwards with every subsequent release selling less and less.
