The game is probably selling stupidly well and beyond their exceptions. If anything, this will just show gamefreak that even if their games receive a massive amount of hate, it won't matter in the end since their fanbase have literal brain damage. Expect the DP remake next year to not even include some of SWSH's pokemons in the code

Pokémon Go ruined the franchise. Thanks to Go GameFreak now know that mobile apps are cheaper to make while making more money, and with Pokémon moving further towards mobileshit GameFreak had to get another franchise going in case TPC and Nintendo decided they were no longer economically viable. Unfortunately they spread their resources too thin for ShSw and could barely make the games, only for Town to be shit anyway meaning that it was all for nothing. If you ever gave money to Pokémon Go you're part of the problem.
