Buying upper versions only encourages GameFreak to leave out content in the first editions so that they can put it in the upper editions. This means that they are actively not putting in the effort to make a good game and will be rewarded extra money by blind consumers who purchase both original and upper versions. If you buy upper versions, you support some of the shittiest practices in the industry. Stop it.
