So after playing these games for 10 hours the best comparison I have is to Little Caesar's.
LC is not very good, but it's still pizza and I'll shut up and eat it if it is available. Some pizza is still better than no pizza. That said there are way better pizzas in existence that Little Caesars.
Likewise these games are not very good. But no matter how crappy they are from a video game perspective I'll still play them because they are Pokemon. Some Pokemon is still more fun than no Pokemon. That said there are way better games in existence than Sword and Shield.
