I'd say the opposite. The cheering is fucking bizarre and the electronic shit is hype. Miles behind any gym theme from gens 1-5, but it's decent enough.

I like the idea of the cheering, but it was not implemented well. There are only a few good new fresh ideas sprinkled throughout the game, the amount of trash weighs it down.

I think that is one of the few good songs the game has, the cheering at the end is hype as fuck and the bit of the song were the game asks you if you want to switch pokemon is catchy, the best theme being Pier's battle theme of course
