From my understanding of the game and it’s “narrative”, Dynamax as a method of entertainment has had a centralizing effect on the region, causing communities that cannot compete to become disenfranchised. As the Dynamax phenomenon became more lucrative, the higher-ups make rasher and rasher decisions that inevitably results in nigh catastrophic events that could have been prevented with a more tempered and patient approach untainted by ego and greed.
From a metaphorical angle, Poison typing is an apt. Beyond that, I got no clue.
