>>41265270That really bugged me too. Instead of having body definition the pokemon instead have gaudy patters plastered all over them. Like Eiscue it's just a bloody penguin with some blue triangles on its belly. Nothing creative or interesting about the design.
The style of texture and shading they went with is also another culprit. It ruined otherwise cool designs like Corviknight. You literally can't tell which part is metal or feather since the shader makes everything look like cheap plastic.
