Wild Yamask have more than 50 HP, I healed it fully, put a focus sash, went into Wild area and faced an excadrill, fled when at 1 HP right under the arch. Easy.

Yeah that's what I was thinking. Battle close to the arch. Focus sash is a good idea though, good way to streamline the process.
