What the fuck even was the point of Eternatus. It didn’t do anything and it has zero lore. You can’t even get a nerfed version of its secondary forme. What a fucking waste.

Yeah it literally feels like it has less presence than Deoxys in ORAS, who was literally a mythical they inserted with minimal effort.

The thing is, he's not tucked away as a little mystery like Necrozma or Giratina. He's directly involved in the story and is the reason for the villains acting. He's the big climax. They were so excited to have him show up, they already blew the Eternatus load. Unlike Necrozma, you don't need to wait for the next game to learn he's the in-universe reason for this gen's big gimmick. Yet simultaneously, there's so little to Eternatus.
