Gigantmax moves are more gimmick like charizard doing extra burn. The mons themselves aren't good for the most part and the solid ones are more defensive along with that only certain memebers of said species can

That and most of the Pokemon with Gigantomax forms are shitmons, and having boosted HP doesn't really do anything for them.

If we're on a non-doomed timeline then next gen megas will return and gigantimaxes will be shrunken down to regular mega status

The worst part of this is that there will be 3 mega charizards but the best is that this generation wasn't a complete and utter waste for everyone involved.
