>>41270130Holy shit these don't even feel like Pokémon anymore. Even calling them Digimon is an insult to them. They all look so weirdly humanoid it's eerie. They feel more akin to Deviant art OCs then anything. Why Game Freak continue to do this ever since Gen 6? Is it really that hard to make a design that at least feels like it would belong? They managed to do it with the new sheep Pokémon and the new corgi Pokémon, but their fucking starters and other Pokémon feel like tryhard attempts. Is that why they've resorted to making "region" versions of older pokemon? Because they are easier to make feel like actual Pokémon since, they already have a based design? I'd even argue they fuck that up too based on what galarian Weezing looks like. It's just not fair. Any other developer their size makes half the mistakes they make and they get shelved. Game Freak could probably make twice as many mistakes and sell hundreds of millions of copies. How did we get into this mess? What caused Game Freak to become so lazy and borderline fraudulent?
