Did anyone get to 1000 battles for shiny hunting and no success? I've found out that the max battle on the sex only goes up to 999!!

BTW still no shiny rolycoly,2 days in

You can catch , or battle. Just keep a 25+ chain going without running into another pokemon.

if a wild Pokemon is shiny does it show up in the field or can you only tell once you battle it?

Shouldn't running into other pokemon not matter? As long as you don't battle them it shouldn't break the chain.

Yeah, I'm over 999 Rookidee battles and not having to battle them to keep my chain would save a lot of time.

Right so much time would be saved. What's weird is if >>41272332 is correct , then running away doesn't break the chain. Cause why would it be okay to run into a different pokemon and runaway, but not run into the same pokemon and run away?
