Does anyone know how the different colorations come about? I know the decorations are decided by what item you give it, but I want to make sure it’s color and decorations match before I evolve my Milcery.

Time of day + spinning direction + spinning length. It really should've been by contest condition if GameFreak were sensible with Alcremie's Pokédex lore and not cutting all of the series's features. Feed it sour Pokéblocks/Poffins/Poképuffs, get lemon cream, no?

The game doesn't count the decorations as formes so they could be 9 with little autism or 63 with extreme autism.
