I think one of the worst things, graphically, about SwSh isn't the shitty graphics themselves. It's the fact that GF's hard-on for fucking sprites will never end, so every item and Pokémon menu icon is still fucking pixels made for a Game Boy. They should all be rendered in 3D HD, or have hand-drawn artwork, like literally every other JRPG out there. It's irksome and stands out like a hideous sore thumb.

Funny how the mock up is literally just the dark type gym in SWSH but with an actual fucking battle background unlike the void we had in that gym. It's better than what gamefreak did with their hallway city gym

Yes, I seen SwSh streams, and other than the few select battles, the rest of battles are in a disgusting looking multicolored void, which is an hilarious regression when even LGPE managed to have battle background somehow match the location
