Whne was the last Gen you felt satisfied with the selection of Pokemon in it? For me it was Gen 4. It boosted several old mon with new evolutions and had its own selection of good Pokemon to boot.

Gen 6.I didn't dislike all of the gen 7/8 mons but the bads were really bad of those gens, all the starters except maybe rillaboom,crabonmible,and duraldon are gross

Gen 5. Some of my favourites are from this gen, like Zoroark, Ferrothorn, Chandelure, Victini and Zekrom. The wild Pokémon distribution was also really great in BW2. The Pokémon really felt like they fit the routes, unlike XY or SwSh where it feels like they were all just dropped in for the sake of it.

Honestly I'm satisfied with every gen. There are definitely shit designs in all of them but as long as there's enough that I love then I'm fine. Gen 8's weaker on average but I still think Gen 4 has the worst dex.

Right now i have Drillaboom (might swap him out for somethign cooler tho), Centiskorch, Toxtricity, Sinistea, Morgrem and Dracovish. I like how different they are from older pokemon, hope they change it up as much for the next generation.

Honestly Gen 3
Gen 4 wasn't bad but it felt like it had a total of 7 new pokemon that weren't legendaries or evolutions of old pokemon
Everything after 4 has been increasing levels of heaping piles of shit

Gen 4 and Gen 6-7, unlike Gen 2 and Gen 3 the dex and the easy compatibility with RSE and FRLG through the DS compatibility. Sinnoh felt balanced and funny, I have made several runs in the Gen 3 titles and then kept playing with them on Platinum and HGSS, then Pokebank kicked in, Gen 6 also had a very rich Pokemon selection in the end.

Now there's the HOME and Gen 8 scam.
