I'm afraid they're not in Galar. Not only does GF cut Pokemon and Elite Four, but also Trainer Classes. They don't show mercy.

I use Cinema 4D but that shit's expensive as fuck so I'd recommend Blender even with the initial learning curve it has, or you could just get a cracked version of C4D like I did lmao

Yeah, these were planned for general flat colors with a bit of shading and not to mention the general size of the screen, so anything like complex shadows or things of the sort can make these look much rougher
Something that I can appreciate is that this time they actually modelled their faces instead of just making them textures, which opens up for some way better expressions
