Man, the problem isn't even that people don't like dungeons or don't like exploring. It's that they don't like boring, inefficient slogs.

I'm playing Tales of Symphonia right now and the dungeons are so fucking quick and streamlined, it's amazing. Ten, twenty minutes, including puzzles and random encounters, going up to maybe half an hour.

Problem is, you will NEVER compete with a phone game unless you go full F2P with some Pay2Win elements thrown in. The Skinner Box game is too strong.
