>>41284729We still are boycotting the games. It's a Pokemon game-- anybody who expected the game to sell like dirt is a fool. So why boycott them? Who knows? We might be able to make a difference. And if we can't make a difference then, with our self-respect and our pride intact, we move on with our lives to become successful adults. It is okay and inevitable for some people who started off boycotting to fail in their discipline and fall off the wagon. It should be expected, even. That doesn't make their choice any better than yours, objectively-speaking.
As for the people who did buy the game and defend it incessantly... It should be obvious by now that, although most of these people are technically adults, most of them have the minds/ maturity levels of mentally-handicapped children. And I truly mean that; this board is unironically full of mentally ill people that can't live without feeling validated. Quite a lot of the people posting hate against boycotters are hormonal trannies, and a lot of them have bipolar and/or borderline personality disorder. These strange people absolutely hate when people disagree with their choices, because they are extremely insecure about how they live their lives. Because of their myriad mental illnesses, they can never grow up, so they will cry and gnash their teeth when we refuse to listen to validate their awful lifestyle choices, including overindulging in (and becoming extremely defensive of) poorly-designed childrens' games. Some of them probably even bought multiple copies, just to spite you.
Imagine living a life so full of insecurity and hate... there can be no wonder as to why so many of them commit suicide.
Please, OP, continue living your life in the way that you feel is most appropriate. I, personally, will continue boycotting this game until something changes, just as I have continued to boycott the 3D Sonic games ever since they removed the Chao Garden. And I have missed out on nothing of value.
