Still, the graphics are underwhelming at best, though that's unfortunately expected of Pokemon. What's worse is that Game Freak had the dexcut to save time and resources, so I really do wonder how bad it would be with all the Pokemon (or maybe not that much worse considering the low jump that was made graphically speaking).
Regardless of how hard the game was to make or the time constraints, this is unacceptable. TPC should've gave Game Freak more time and resources to work with. Effort is irrelevent if the product is awful. Defecating can take great effort, but it's still defecation.
But even if the graphics were touched up and made adequate, that still doesn't fix the other presentation issues such as music and design, let alone the gameplay which has become increasingly more unsatisfying for more serious and challenge-craving players. While the casual fanbase should definitely be considered and catered to, the marginalization of those who want more freedom and difficulty is going to leave more players sour.
Also, bricking consoles is a major fuck up. Somebody's gonna get in trouble for this.
